Diversity and inclusion training in the company

Compliance with the legal framework on non-discrimination is an essential foundation, but it is not enough for a successful business.

From non-discrimination to inclusion

True transformation occurs when we move from simple compliance to a proactive approach to promoting diversity and inclusion. Recognising the richness of different profiles is a lever for growth that stimulates innovation and strengthens employee engagement.

A well-executed inclusion policy becomes a powerful driver of performance. By creating an environement where everyone feels respected and valued, the company unlocks the potential of its teams. Inclusive management promotes dialogue and creativity, which translates into greater engagement, greater agility and a stronger employer brand.

However, the path to an inclusive culture is faught with obstacles such as stereotypes and unconscious cognitive biases that distort our decisions. Becoming aware of one’s own biases is the first essential step in deconstructing them and adopting more equitable behaviours. This requires awareness-raising and concrete tools for all employees.

Theoretical approaches are limited in their ability to support this change. The challenge is to feel the real impact of discrimination in order to bring about lasting behavioural change. This is why training on diversity and inclusion in the workplace must focus on experiential learning in order to raise real awareness and embed new skills.

Target audience and prerequisites

Our training is aimed at all employees within an organisation, as building an inclusive culture is a shared responsibility. Through their daily actions, every employee contributes to shaping a respectful and productive working environment.

Particular attention is paid to managers, directors and human resources professionals. They play a key role in disseminating best practices, influencing recruitment and ensuring fairness within teams. The training provides them with concrete tools to identify and correct biases.

No technical prerequisites or theoretical knowledge are required to participate. Our teaching approach is accessible to all. All that is required is an open mind an a willingness to question one’s practices in order to contribute to fairer professional environement.

Training programme

Our course is structured in four progressive modules, designed to guide you from theory to practice and give you concrete tools that can be applied immediately.

Module 1: Understand the legal framework and context

This module lays the foundations by addressing the 25 criteria for discrimination prohibited by French law. We illustrate how the legal framework applies in practice in professional situations, from recruitment to career management, to ensure secure company practices.

Module 2: Identify conditions conductive to a diversity policy

This module focuses on the psychological mechanisms that lead to discrimination, such as stereotypes and cognitive biases. Becoming aware of the impact of unconscious biases is the key to overcoming them and implementing fair management practices.

Module 3: Establish and implement an inclusive culture

This module is action-oriented. We work on the attitudes and reflexes to adopt in order to foster a climate of trust, in particular through the development of inclusive communication. Our workshops and role-playing exercises, detailed in our section on diversity awareness in the company, enable values to be transformed into concrete actions.

Module 4: Lead the diversity and inclusion initiative

The final module addresses the strategic deployment of this approach. An inclusion policy is a long-term corporate project. We examine the key performance indicators to be put in place to measure progress and ensure the impact of your actions.

Learning objectives

By the end of this training course, you will have a firm grasp of the legal framework for non-discrimination and be able to clearly identify your own unconscious biases. Understanding the difference between stereotypes and discrimination is essential for bringing about lasting change.

Our ambition is to help you develop the skills you need to take concrete action on a daily basis. You will learn how to identify situations of discrimination and respond constructively, topics that we also cover in our webinar on diversity and inclusion.

The ultimate goal is to help you adopt an authentically inclusive attitude as an employee and manager. By developing a greater sensitivity to each person’s experiences, you will become an active promoter of a corporate culture based on kindness and fairness.

Assessment methods

Skills are assessed on an ongoing basis through interactive quizzes to reinforce the learning from each module. The course is then validated by the award of a certificate of achievement, which certifies the acquisition of the key skills needed to become a player in a more inclusive corporate culture.

The key strengths of the training

Our strengths lies in our immersive and experiential educational approach, based on serious games. By placing you in the shoes of the observer, the target or the perpetrator of discrimination, the training provokes profound awareness, as illustrated by our approach to raising awareness of disability in the company.

The quality of the programme is guaranteed by its co-design with Altidem, a recognised expert in diversity, and its distinction as a winner of the Diversity Awards. It is a powerful tool for transformation that is part of a policy of Quality of Life and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
