In a world where digital threats are multiplying, the NOVEN Group has chosen to tackle the challenge of cybersecurity with a refreshing approach. As a player in a sensitive sector, the company found itself at a crossroads: continue with traditional awareness-raising methods or take a more innovative path to protect its rapidly expanding digital ecosystem. It was in this context that the cybersecurity officer and Systems and Networks Administrator, supported by Valérie Borrelli, came up with a new way to engage employees.

A tailored response to evolving cybersecurity needs

The initiative is part of a broader regulatory shift, particularly with the arrival of the NIS2 directive, which requires employees to improve their cybersecurity skills. The group was already familiar with Daesign through an older serious game, but wanted to revamp its communication materials to revitalize awareness and move away from traditional tools (internal emails, overly dense onboarding processes, best practice sheets on the intranet, etc.).

The objective was clear: to breathe new life and innovation into the way cybersecurity is approached in the workplace.

From the NOVEN Group's specifications... to the Cyber#365 solution

To implement this new training program, the NOVEN Group sought a solution that would capture attention and integrate naturally into everyday work life. Their vision was clear:

  • Offer attractive and innovative content to capture the attention of users already exposed to more traditional media.
  • Prioritize a multi-format digital format to maintain employee interest, alternating between serious games, e-learning, and videos;
  • Prioritize a French solution, out of a desire to support local innovation and companies operating in the region;
  • Ensure use in a professional context, during working hours, with clear internal support.

Daesign’s Cyber365 platform won over the decision-makers. The relationship of trust established over time between the CIM and Daesign teams facilitated this decision, but it was above all the richness of the content and the innovative educational approach that tipped the balance.

Deployment methods and usage framework

The launch of Cyber365 was carefully orchestrated. A precise schedule was established with Daesign, followed by an inspiring internal communication campaign inviting employees to discover the platform. Of the 229 available licenses, 183 were quickly deployed, particularly to people who use IT tools on a daily basis and shift-working operations teams.

Today, the platform has 216 active users—a remarkable adoption rate that demonstrates the appeal of the system.

When learning becomes a transformative experience

The feedback has been very positive. What really appealed to the teams was the immersive approach of the serious game, which puts everyone in the shoes of a hacker. This reversal of perspective has generated a deep awareness of the consequences of certain digital behaviors. The diversity of formats (game, e-learning, video) is hailed as one of the major strengths of the course, helping to maintain interest and reinforce the messages over time.

A direct effect on cyber maturity

For the IT team, Cyber365 has become an indispensable addition to the technical barriers already in place. Because they know full well that a high-performance firewall or effective anti-spam software is not enough if users have not adopted the right habits. It is this combination of secure architecture and a shared cyber culture that forges a truly resilient environment.

The success of this initiative goes far beyond the scope of a simple technological deployment. It is part of the fundamental work carried out on a daily basis by the IT teams, who work tirelessly to promote best practices and help each employee understand the risks
